When many people think about addictions, they probably think of using drugs or alcohol. That’s definitely a common type of addiction, but there are other things people can get addicted to too.
Tristan Weigelt, who is 26 years old, is a tattoo apprentice and has filled his body with tattoos. There is hardly any skin left without ink on it, making him a unique example of unusual addictions.
He also recently showed a picture of himself from five years ago, before he got any work done. Comparing 2020 to 2022 really highlights how much can change in just a few years.
After getting tattoos that cover 95% of his body, he reflects on the situation and doesn’t regret it. He finds it weird to see himself with all the tattoos, but he still feels the same on the inside as he did before.
He talked about some tattoos that hurt a lot, especially the ones on his face and head. He mentioned that it felt like being scratched with a metal brush.
He explained, “It took six whole days, about five to six hours each day, and the pain was like an eight out of 10.”
He said all the tattoos on his body don’t have any special meaning, even though you might think they do. He just spent $50,000 on them in the last five years.
He also wants to share some tips for anyone thinking about getting a tattoo. He mentioned, “Choose something that you really like and that has meaning to you. I notice a lot of people stressing about whether a tattoo will suit them or if it’s their type. If you like it – then get it.”
When it comes to makeovers, I’d say he’s in a league of his own
